On a stunningly crisp November afternoon (and likely the last time the sun shone in 2020), surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Olivia and Fraser tied the knot in a relaxed and intimate wedding ceremony at Lochgreen Hotel Glasshouse in Troon, South Ayrshire.
Due to the covid pandemic, the couple had had to delay and reschedule their original June date. Their date was moved and moved again before they decided enough was enough and scheduled a November date to celebrate with their two wonderful families. When I asked Olivia and Fraser how they felt about not being able to include their friends on the day, both said while it was totally gutting; that some of the best nights they’d ever had, had been with their families, so it was never given a second thought. Despite the original plan of a big wedding, the day was no less special and filled with laughter, happy tears and so much love.
Olivia and Fraser’s story began back in 2012 when they first met at the Troon beach car park. That year they spent the summer with friends and enjoying each others company. Things became serious for them on their Magaluf 6th year holiday when they shared their first kiss on the beach that seemed to seal the deal. Their relationship has endured its fair share of ups and downs over the years, but if anything, it’s obviously made them stronger and appreciate each other all the more. The way Olivia looks at Fraser, and the way Fraser couldn’t speak more highly of Olivia was just testament to their love.
It was an absolute pleasure and honour to photograph Olivia and Fraser on their little big day. Here’s cheers to their next chapter and their happily ever after.
